Troy started out with an entrepreneurial flare, running several businesses while in high school and for two years after graduation. He then completed a four-year Commerce Degree, majoring in Marketing and Computers, from the University of British Columbia. He has held several management positions since, including Hudson’s Bay Co., Sunkist Growers Inc., Blackcomb Mountain, Canadian Snowmobile & ATV Adventures, and Eagle Ski, Snowboard & Golf Tours. Currently Troy is working full-time on www.ResortAc.com and several other Whistler-based Internet ventures.
During his years of designing and maintaining Whistler websites, Troy discovered that the biggest challenge faced by travellers is how to find the best ski-in ski-out or golf course accommodations. Other accommodation seekers are looking for peaceful, quiet rentals, or Whistler Village accommodations in the epicenter of resort nightlife.
Addressing this need has been a top priority for Troy, and new technology has provided the tools to accomplish this goal.
When he’s not selling or net surfing, Troy will be found exploring the Whistler Okanagan areas of BC via mountain bike, boat, skis, or snowboard.
